Most leaks come from a clogged drain, a dirty filter freezing the coil, or a rusted pan. Cut power first. Vacuum the drain with a wet/dry vac, replace the filter, and make sure the unit is level for proper runoff. If it reappears, the pan or trap needs repair—don’t let it soak drywall or insulation.
